Revised Two Tongues Album Cover Art

It’s been a pivotal week at Oxford Private Studios. The gears of creativity are still turning, but now they’re being paired with a sharpened commercial focus. Our Minimum Viable Commercial Website is live, and for the first time, The Shop has officially moved out of the test phase. This marks a quiet but powerful step forward: we are open, we are selling, and we are slowly turning art into revenue.

Momentum in the Music

Aiyanili continues to draw strong, heartfelt engagement. Her soul-stirring track “Dzorera Zvese” has now passed 26,000 views, while the Zulu version “Buyisela Konke” has surpassed 20,000 views, helping her YouTube channel break the 50K milestone. Every song is a prayer and a protest, and the global response proves how deeply those messages resonate.

Over on the Pop frontier, Silent Dollie’s track “Waves of Change” once sat atop a wave of over 100,000 views before we severed ties with a bad-faith distributor. Today, that song stands proud with 20K views on YouTube, 25K on Spotify, and 8121 streams on SoundCloud, all organically earned. More importantly, Silent Dollie has now surpassed 500,000 total streams, and monetisation is officially in progress. We’re beginning to shift our streaming ads toward internal Store Ads, focusing not just on growth but sustainable revenue generation.

The Future is R&B, and It’s Ours to Shape

Looking ahead, we’re placing strategic focus on our R&B assets, and leading that charge are none other than Velvet Assembly and Keisean Vonnel. With cinematic storytelling, smouldering production, and a timeless vocal aesthetic, these artists embody the next wave of soulful, genre-defining expression. If you’re not tuned in yet, now is the time.

Gospel Introduced: The Sound of Faith Meets the Art of Controversy

In an exciting expansion, we are introducing Gospel music to our catalogue. Collins Bunjira will be releasing three full-length albums on 5 September:

  • The Story of the Controversy
  • Faithful Forever
  • (Third title TBA)

This triple release is set to disrupt traditional gospel categories, bringing a fresh, unfiltered voice to a genre that’s hungry for honest storytelling. Expect powerful truths, bold compositions, and a fire that doesn’t fade.

Dancehall, Reggae & Country – Refining the Fire

We’re still in the refinement phase for our Dancehall, Reggae, and Country music offerings, but make no mistake, what’s coming is fierce. These genres are part of our broader strategic expansion, and when they arrive, they’ll arrive in full force.

Global Moves: Afrobeat & Powwow Step

Our Afrobeat flagships Adanna Zuri and Chidi Kito continue to command attention, and we’re now taking the next step, registering in South Africa to expand access and visibility for our Afrobeat content. But we’re not stopping there.

We’re preparing to introduce the Powwow Step genre to African markets, where it’s already beginning to blow up. With its ceremonial energy, electronic fusion, and Native American roots, Powwow Step is a revenue-rich space waiting for the right kind of breakthrough. We’re positioning ourselves—and our artists, to be that breakthrough.

Funding & Video – A Road Still Ahead

It’s no secret: funding remains our biggest challenge. As such, video content is still downstream, but it is not forgotten. Our current strategy is designed to boost revenue from music streams, direct sales, and merchandising, laying the groundwork for entering the visual production space. When we arrive there, we intend to arrive strong.
